Memorial services for 94-year-old Leola Newton, formerly of Slater, and her daughter, 74-year-old Nancy Newton, of Slater, will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 8, at Weiker Funeral Home in Slater. Inurnment will follow at Slater City Cemetery.
