The Marshall School District decided to postpone the start date for all schools on Friday, August 3.
According to a news release from Superintendent Dr. Carol Maher, due to the ongoing cleaning efforts at Southeast Elementary School, the first day of classes for the entire district scheduled for Wednesday, August 15, has been postponed.
Dr. Maher added all back-to-school staff activities will proceed as scheduled, but the only change will be the date for the Southeast Elementary Open House, which has not been determined yet.
Dr. Maher said the new start date for classes will likely be decided on the evening of Tuesday, August 7.
