An ongoing roadwork project during overnight hours is scheduled to resume in Howard County this week.
According to MoDOT, resurfacing and shoulder improvements are scheduled to continue on Highway 40, between Highway 5 and Route UU in Boone County.
On Monday, August 6, contractors will install temporary traffic signals at the Bonne Femme Creek bridge, west of County Road 461, for bridge rail rehabilitation and guardrail installation. One lane of the bridge will be closed until September, and the project is scheduled to run through sometime in October.
During the project, one lane will be open, and a pilot car will guide traffic through the work area.
All work is weather permitting.
