William H. “Bill” Gooch, age 93, of Marshall, died Friday, August 3, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 7, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Burial, with military rites, will follow at Highland Sacred Gardens Cemetery in Sedalia. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to V.F.W. Post 2646.

Survivors include four children: Deena Hightower and husband Ed of Marshall, William Daniel Gooch of Lakeview Heights, Debra Clapper of Norborne and Donna Ford and husband Randall of Sweet Springs; seven grandchildren: Angela Palmer and husband Terrelle, William Jason Gooch, Troy Hall and wife Angie, Brian Hall and wife Jessi, Stacey Waters and husband Chad, Jennifer Morrison and husband Jay and Rebecca Stedem and husband Ryan; 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Elsie Payne of Shawnee Mission, KS; as well as nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Roy Gooch and Sena Yung Gooch, and wife, Alice Whipple; Bill was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Gooch.
