The Glasgow School Board acted on several items during its meeting on Wednesday, August 15.
According to a release from the district, the meeting began with the tax-rate hearing, and the board later set the tax-levy rate at $4.84 per $100 of assessed valuation on real and personal property.
The board also gave its approval for the school year to start on Wednesday, August 22; and the budget manual, the non-faculty coach/sponsor list, the Triple 7 asphalt seal invoice and the substitute teacher list all as presented.
