One roadwork project is scheduled to continue this week in Cooper County.
According to MoDOT, bridge replacement is underway on Highway 87 over I-70. Beginning August 20, grading operations, base-rock installation and culvert extension, as well as the resurfacing of Highway 87, the westbound entrance and exit ramps, is scheduled to take place.
Also, occasional overnight lane closures are possible on I-70 for construction of the new bridge, and the project scheduled for completion by sometime in November.
All work is weather permitting.
