Some cleanup needed at an elementary school delayed the start of Marshall Public Schools by one week. During the meeting of the Marshall School Board on Tuesday, August 21, the board was asked to approve an amended calendar for the 2018-19 year that was proposed by CTA.
Superintendent Dr. Carol Maher explained when the additional days are scheduled to be made up and any other possible changes with the proposed calendar.

Board member Erin Williams noted the buck stops with the school board.

The board approved the amended calendar as presented.
