The Slater City Council discussed several projects scheduled to begin next month and other business during its meeting on Tuesday, August 21.
Mayor Dr. Stephen Allegri said multiple projects are scheduled to begin in September, which includes city wide tree trimming and others.

Allegri also wanted to remind residents about hiring professionals if they don’t prefer the city wide tree trimming program.
In other business, Allegri details a certain grant which will help cover the cost of a piece of equipment.

Also, Allegri said a second grant application will help with the expenditures of a recent water leak. The council then approved to apply for both rural development grants.
