Bond has been set at $100,000 cash, surety or 10-percent cash for a Brookfield resident who has been charged with multiple counts of a felony for allegedly selling a controlled substance to a confidential informant at a residence near a park.
According to a probable-cause statement, the confidential informant bought methamphetamine from 42-year-old Tammy Lundy in the 300 block of East Clark Street, less than 750 feet from Joyce Park. Authorities also executed a search warrant at the residence and reportedly found numerous drug-related items.
Lundy has been charged with a Class A Felony for Distribution of a Controlled Substance in a Protected Location; two counts of a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana; and three misdemeanors.
An arraignment hearing for Lundy is set for 9:30 a.m. on Monday, August 27, at Linn County Circuit Court.
