One roadwork project is scheduled to continue this week in Cooper County.
According to MoDOT, bridge replacement is underway on Highway 87 over I-70. The bridge is closed, but all exit and entrance ramps connecting to I-70 remain open. Grading operations, base-rock installation and the resurfacing of Highway 87, as well as the westbound entrance and exit ramps, is scheduled to continue this week.
Also, occasional overnight lane closures are possible on I-70 for construction of the new bridge, and the project scheduled for completion by sometime in November.
One roadwork project is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 27, in Cooper County. Partial pavement overlay is scheduled on Route AA, from Routes B to H, with the work scheduled through Tuesday, August 28.
All work is weather permitting.
