The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances surrounding a Boonville man being injured in a hit-and-run traffic incident in Boone County on Saturday, August 25.
According to a report from the agency, 23-year-old Tavon Coleman reportedly walked out in traffic and was struck by an unknown vehicle which left the scene.
Coleman was transported by private vehicle to Cooper County Memorial Hospital in Boonville for treatment of moderate injures.
The incident occurred just before 6 p.m. at the 119 mile marker of I-70. The highway patrol is currently investigating the incident.
