Two Dayton, Ohio residents were inured, including one seriously, in a rollover tractor-trailer accident in Carroll County on Sunday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred as the driver of a westbound freightliner, 80-year-old Jose Hernandez, reportedly overcorrect as the semi-truck was traveling off the ride side of the roadway, which caused it to overturn.
Hernandez reportedly was treated at the scene for minor injures, but passenger, 62-year-old Deborah Hernandez, who reportedly was not wearing a seat belt, was transported to Truman Medical Center in Kansas City for treatment of serious injures.
The accident happened just after noon on U.S. Highway 24, east of County Road 371.
