Bond has been set at $100,000 cash only for a Blackburn resident who has been charged with multiple sex-related felonies involving a juvenile.
According to a probable-cause statement, on July 28, 2018, a woman alleged that Christopher Michael Moore II sexually assaulted her daughter on more than one occasion between June 30 and July 1 and July 20 through July 22 at Moore’s residence in rural Saline County. Authorities have reviewed explicit Facebook messages between the juvenile and Moore.
As of the statement that was filed on August 24, numerous attempts had been made by authorities to locate and interview Moore, who reportedly has absconded from his supervision with probation and parole and has not been seen nor heard from since July 28.
According to online court documents, a warrant has been issued and Moore, who was born in 1994, has been charged with two counts of a Class D Felony for Statutory Sodomy in the Second Degree; a Class D Felony for Statutory Rape in the Second Degree; and an Unclassified Felony for Enticement of a Child (Actor 21 Years of Age or Older and Child Less Than 15 Years of Age).
Moore’s initial hearing at Saline County Circuit Court is pending.
