Charles W. “Charley” Crowder, 84, of Marshall, died Wednesday, August 29, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, September 1, at First Baptist Church in Marshall. Burial will be held at Hazel Grove Cemetery in Herndon

Visitation will be 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Hazel Grove Cemetery or First Baptist Church in Marshall in care Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.

In addition to his wife, Louise; he is survived by his two daughters; Mitzi Lynn Zerr (John) of Springfield and Terri Mruzik (Joseph) of Pacific; eight grandchildren; Tristan and Gabriel Stuart, Sarah Doublin (Josh), Josh and Hannah Gooch, and Thomas, Bethany and Joshua Mruzik; one sister, Ramona Mizer (Kenneth) of rural Marshall; one brother, William Cundiff of Hallsville; one aunt, Mabel Lea Haynor of Lee’s Summit; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his father and mother, Marvin Wesley Crowder and Freda Viola Charles Crowder Cundiff; he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Lovell Cundiff; and a son-in-law, Steven Gooch.
