Free developmental screenings for children age 3 months to 5 years is scheduled to be held in Pettis County this week.
According to the Sedalia 200 School District, on Wednesday, September 5, and Thursday, September 6, the Parents As Teachers program Screenings are scheduled to be held at the Pettis County Early Childhood Cooperative at 2255 South Ingram Avenue. The areas which will be screened include: speech, vision, hearing, language, readiness and motor skills; there also is a health questionnaire.
The screenings are by appointment only, and eligible children must be residents of Pettis County and not yet in kindergarten.
