During the meeting of the Saline County Commission on Thursday, August 30, Clerk Debbie Russell said a deadline has passed for putting issues on the November ballot.

The midterm election will be held on Tuesday, November 6.
In other news, Russell said her office is working on getting tax-rate numbers to the state.

The public hearing regarding Saline County’s proposed tax rate is scheduled to be held during the next open-session meeting of the county commission, which begins at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, September 4.
