Several area city governments postponed their regular meeting by one day this upcoming week due to Labor Day on Monday, September 3.
The Marshall City Council is scheduled to approve two agreements with the Saline County Collector regarding the collection of certain taxes levied during its meeting at 6 p.m.
The agenda also says the council is scheduled to consider approving the annual operating budget for the MMU Board of Public Works, as well as hear reports from various departments.
The meeting is scheduled at the city offices building at 214 North Lafayette Avenue.

The Carrollton Town Council is scheduled to discuss an ordinance to update the Municipal Code regarding the recycling of solid waste during its meeting.
The agenda says the council also is scheduled to consider an ordinance authorizing the town to enter into a contract with Conrad Fire Equipment to conduct annual pump testing.
There also could be a closed, executive session for the council to discuss legal, real-estate and personnel matters, as well as sealed proposals and negotiated contracts.
The meeting is scheduled at 6 p.m. at city hall at 206 West Washington.

During the meeting of the Sedalia City Council, the council is scheduled to consider authorizing an application for a grant to replace dump trucks for the street department during its meeting.
The council also is scheduled to discuss a request for temporary street closures for the 2nd Annual Wine and Brews on the Avenues event scheduled for September 29.
The council is scheduled to go into closed, executive session to discuss legal and real-estate matters.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in the city council chambers at the Municipal Building at 200 South Osage Avenue.

The Concordia Board of Aldermen is scheduled to consider a request by the high school cheerleading squad to paint Southwest 12th Street for Homecoming during its meeting at 7 p.m.
According to agenda, aldermen also are scheduled to consider an ordinance repealing a section of the Municipal Code regarding the police chief being required to attend all aldermen meetings, as well as a request to close City Hall at noon on Friday, September 7, for a fair.
The meeting is scheduled to be held in room 203 at the Concordia Community Building at 802 South Gordon Street.

The Boonville City Council is scheduled to approve an agreement with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission for funding runway reconstruction and other improvements at Jesse Viertal Memorial Airport during its meeting.
According to the agenda, the council also is scheduled to consider an agreement with Lauber Municipal Law to provide special legal services, as well as hear reports from various departments.
The meeting is scheduled at 7 p.m. in the city council chambers at 525 East Spring Street.
