One roadwork project is scheduled to continue this week in Cooper County.
According to MoDOT, bridge replacement is underway on Highway 87 over I-70. The bridge is closed, but all exit and entrance ramps connecting to I-70 remain open.
Beginning Tuesday, September 4, Steven Kole Court will be closed to traffic the week of as part of work south of I-70, where motorists will be detoured over a temporary bypass to Klinton Drive.
Also, occasional overnight lane closures are possible on I-70 for construction of the new bridge, and the project scheduled for completion by sometime in November.
Also on Tuesday, September 4, culvert-pipe replacement will take place throughout the day on Route H, between Route O and Miller Drive.
Also, partial pavement overlay is scheduled on Highway 135, from Route A to the Pettis County line, with work scheduled to last through Thursday, September 13.
Each project will have one lane open, and crews will flag traffic through the work areas.
