A Knob Noster youth suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Pettis County on Monday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a westbound vehicle, driven by 78-year-old Larry Hawkins, of Sweet Springs- whose vision reportedly was obstructed, attempted to cross Winchester Drive from a private parking lot. The vehicle reportedly traveled into the path of and struck a southbound vehicle, driven by 36-year-old Ciara Cain, of Knob Noster.
While neither driver was injured, a 6-year-old girl in the Cain vehicle reportedly was transported by private vehicle to Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia for treatment.
The crash happened just before 2 p.m. at Winchester Drive and U.S. Highway 50.
