Robert A. “Bob” Kindle, age 78, of Odessa and formerly of Concordia, died Tuesday, September 4, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 8, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Concordia, where visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, September 7, 2018. Burial will be held in Bethel Cemetery in Concordia. Memorials may be made to Bethel United Church of Christ or American Cancer Society.

In addition to his wife, Wanda, Bob is survived by two daughters, Teresa Thompson (Dennis) of Odessa and Roberta Swearngin of Oak Grove; four grandchildren: Jake Thompson, Corey Swearngin, Laura Swearngin and Kelsey Swearngin; one sister, Virginia Droege (Fred) of Concordia; one brother, Phil Kindle (Dot) of Blue Springs; and several and nephews.

In addition to his parents, William A. Kindle and Dorothy Irene Reno Kindle; Bob was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Tim Swearngin; one granddaughter, Samantha Thompson; and one brother, Doyle Kindle.
