The Missouri Department of Transportation will shift traffic on I-70 near the Marshall Junction on Monday, September 10.
According to MoDOT, westbound traffic on I-70 will stay in the current configuration, but the eastbound lanes will shift slightly. Crews will maintain two lanes in each direction during construction, but may have intermittent lane closures as they perform this traffic switch. Speeds through the work zone will be reduced to 60 miles per hour.
This is phase three of a multi-phase bridge rehab project that is scheduled to last through November.
Also, the loop ramps from southbound Highway 65 to eastbound I-70, and northbound Highway 65 to westbound I-70 are still closed, where traffic is being detoured to Routes YY and J. The exit ramps from I-70 to Highway 65 remain open.
All work is weather permitting.
