Bond has been set at $25,000 cash or licensed surety- no 10-percent allowed- for a Carrollton woman who is facing a drug-related felony charge after authorities allegedly found her to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Wednesday, September 5.
According to a probable-cause statement, the stop happened at the intersection of Marshall and Green Streets, and authorities say they found the items in a black purse belonging to 23-year-old Kori Mae Marie Rector- a passenger in the vehicle.
According to online court documents, Rector has been charged with a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana and a drug-related misdemeanor.
Rector was arraigned while in custody and entered a plea of not guilty on Wednesday, September 5. Her cause has been continued for a counsel-status hearing at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, September 12, at Carroll County Circuit Court.
