A Cole Camp man was killed in a traffic crash involving two motorcycles and a vehicle in Morgan County on Friday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a westbound motorcycle, driven by 61-year-old Alan Anderson, of Cole Camp, reportedly was following another motorcycle, driven by 62-year-old Ronald Williams, of Smithton, who was attempting a turn and was struck by Anderson’s motorcycle, which continued forward and struck a southbound vehicle stopped at a stop sign.
Anderson reportedly was pronounced deceased at 8:55 p.m. at the scene by a doctor. Williams and the driver of the stopped vehicle, 46-year-old Todd Edgar, of Versailles, reportedly were not injured.
The crash happened just after 8:15 p.m. on U.S. Highway 52 at the west junction of Missouri Highway 135.
