A Tipton man was killed in a traffic accident involving an all-terrain vehicle in Moniteau County on Friday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred as a northbound ATV, driven by 78-year-old Chester York, reportedly began to slide on a gravel driveway and overturned.
York reportedly was transported by Mid-Mo E.M.S to St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment, where he was pronounced deceased by a doctor at 7:02 p.m.
The accident happened at about 5:45 p.m. in the 72000 block of Seed House Road in Tipton.
