Two Stover residents sustained moderate injuries in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Morgan County on Saturday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a westbound vehicle, driven by 35-year-old Amanda Springer, was stopped to make a left turn and reportedly was struck in the rear by another westbound vehicle, driven by 46-year-old John Zans, of Sugar Creek.
While Zans reportedly was not injured, Springer and a passenger in her vehicle, 45-year-old Richard Watts, were transported by ambulance to Capital Regional Hospital in Jefferson City for treatment.
The crash happened at about 10:45 a.m. on Missouri Highway 52, three-tenths of a mile west of Route T.
