A Rocheport teen suffered serious injuries in a truck/bicycle accident in Cooper County on Sunday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred as a 15-year old reportedly failed to yield and his bicycle was struck by an eastbound Toyota Tacoma, driven by 56-year-old Barbara Drechsel, of Boonville.
While Drechsel reportedly was not injured, the teen was transported by an ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
The accident happened just after 1:30 p.m. on Route N, just west of Georgetown Drive.
