The Smith-Cotton JROTC Color Guard recently presented the National Colors before a Chiefs and Royals game in Kansas City.
Sergeant Major Randall Woods said the Smith-Cotton JROTC program was selected to presents the colors before the Chiefs preseason game against the Houston Texans on August 9 and before the Royals game against the Chicago White Sox on September 10.
Woods said the team got a pleasant surprise during the Chiefs game.
Woods said the team had a great time and were proud to present the colors at Kauffman and Arrowhead Stadiums. Woods said the team is staying busy in preparing to defend its national title during the JROTC National Competition in Georgia on November 2.
