A Kansas City man plead guilty to four felony charges during a recent hearing for the murder of a Windsor man last year in Pettis County.
According to online court documents, 30-year-old Ronald Cage was charged with two Class A Felonies for Murder in the Second Degree and Robbery in the First Degree; an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action; and a Class D Felony for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
According to a news release, law enforcement determined Cage was a suspect in the murder of Leon Hinckley in Pettis County on August 17, 2017. Pettis County Sheriff’s deputies located Hinckley with multiple gunshot wounds at Sunset Village Trailer Park, just west of the Sedalia city limits.
Online court documents also say Cage plead guilty to the felony charges during a case hearing on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, and his sentencing hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Thursday, November 8, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
