A public hearing about the possible zoning change on a parcel of land was held during the meeting of the Marshall City Council on Monday, September 17.
During the regular meeting, the council was asked to approve an ordinance to annex that piece of property into the city, which City Administrator David Haugland explained.

The council approved the annexation, then it was asked to approve changing the zoning classification from A-1 Agriculture District to I-H Heavy Industrial District.

The council heard two readings of the proposed ordinance and approved the zoning change.
