Absentee voting for the November election is supposed to begin next week, but Saline County Clerk Debbie Russell said that could be delayed.
At the meeting of the county commission on Thursday, September 20, Russell said the printing of the ballots currently is being delayed.

Russell says if you want to vote early on, you might want to call ahead.

In an action taken by the commission, it approved a resolution proclaiming Friday, October 5, as Manufacturing Day in Saline County.
