Two Ava residents were injured, including one seriously, in a rollover tractor trailer accident in Saline County on Thursday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred as a northbound freightliner, driven by 38-year-old Joelandal Harley, reportedly traveled off the right side of the roadway, overturned and struck a utility pole.
Harley sustained serious injures and passenger, 37-year-old Janice Harley, sustained moderate injures. Both occupants were transported by Saline County ambulance to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment of injures.
The accident happened just before 5 a.m. just north of Mount Olive Road on the northbound side of U.S. Highway 65, just south of Marshall.
