H. Richard Filkins, age 75, of Marshall, died Monday, October 1, 2018.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 4, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Inurnment will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Community Cancer Center in Marshall.

In addition to his wife, Barbara; he is survived by two daughters, Jill Paulus of Marshall and Tammy Martens of Kirksville; two grandsons, Mason and Miles Paulus; as well as nieces and nephews.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Owen Filkins and Jewell Vivian Dunkle Filkins; one son, Brian Filkins; and one brother, Terry Filkins.
