The Higginsville Board of Aldermen were awarded with a grant check which will help purchase equipment for law enforcement during its meeting on Monday, October 1.
City Administrator Jeanette Dobson said MIRMA Representative Kelly Beets presented the grant check which will be used to make purchases for the new dispatch center.

In other business, Dobson said the board approved a contract agreement with Prep the Page, of Lee’s Summit, for short term and long term planning services for several city departments.
