A Sedalia resident sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Pettis County on Monday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a northbound vehicle, driven by 22-year-old Zachary Overbeck, of Enid, Oklahoma, approached the intersection of U.S. Highway 65 and Route HH, and a westbound vehicle, driven by 58-year-old Larry Brandes, reportedly attempted to travel west across U.S. Highway 65 and pulled directly into the path of the Overbeck vehicle. Overbeck’s vehicle reportedly struck the left rear of the Brandes vehicle.
While Overbeck reportedly was not injured, Brandes was transported by a private vehicle to Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia for treatment.
The crash happened at 5 p.m.
