During the meeting of the Marshall City Council on Monday, October 1, Ward 1 Councilman Ron Ott said he serves on the code-enforcement committee.
Ott said he had a citizen approach him recently and said the city doesn’t look like it’s always consistent or doing what it should be doing. Ott says Marshall has an aging population, and a lot of times the people just aren’t physically or financially able to do the work.
Ott noted he will bring it to the attention during the next code-enforcement committee meeting and get its input, then will bring it back to the council. He says if anyone has any comments or can help in any way to let the council or committee know.
