Several area city governments are scheduled to hold meetings on Monday, October 15.
The Marshall City Council is scheduled to consider a resolution to encourage residents to become educated about Missouri Proposition D during its meeting at 6 p.m.
The agenda also says the council is scheduled to accept an agreement with a company for a certain mill and overlay project, as well as consider contracts with the Marshall Community Chorus and Philharmonic Orchestra and the Marshall-Saline Development Corporation.
The meeting is scheduled at the city offices building at 214 North Lafayette Avenue.

The Higginsville Board of Aldermen is scheduled to consider street closures for two upcoming holiday events during its meeting.
According to the agenda, the board also is scheduled to hear a report regarding this year’s expenditures of various city funds from April 1 to September 30.
There also is a closed, executive session on the agenda for the board to discuss legal, real-estate and personnel matters.
The meeting is scheduled at 6 p.m. at city hall at 1922 Main Street.

The Sedalia City Council is scheduled to consider an ordinance regarding the removal of stop signs at two intersections on South Montgomery Street during its meeting at 6:30 p.m.
On the agenda, the council also is scheduled to discuss a bid from Septagon Construction for concrete work needed for the new police department building, as well as consider an ordinance which would include a fee for additional city-provided trash or recycling carts.
There also is a closed, executive session on the agenda for the council to discuss legal, real-estate and personnel matters.
The meeting is scheduled at city hall at 200 South Osage Avenue.

The Concordia Board of Aldermen is scheduled to consider an ordinance regarding the establishment of a no parking zone on Southwest 8th Street during its meeting at 7 p.m.
According to the agenda, aldermen also are scheduled to review a proposed leak adjustment and meter policy, as well as discuss an ordinance regarding procedures for locating lines on private property.
The meeting is scheduled to be held in room 203 at the Concordia Community Building at 802 South Gordon Street.
