With the election two weeks away, Saline County Clerk Debbie Russell says requests for absentee ballots are remaining strong.
During the meeting of the Saline County Commission on Tuesday, October 23, Russell said there have been nearly 300 requests made.
Russell said her office will be sending out a bipartisan team to the nursing homes this week.
Russell also noted her office will be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, November 3, to accommodate absentee voting. Otherwise, absentee voting will be accepted during regular business hours through 5 p.m. on Monday, November 5. Voters go to the polls to cast their ballots on Tuesday, November 6.
