A Carrollton resident is facing a felony drug charge after authorities responded to a report of a disturbance earlier this week.
According to a post on the Carrollton Police Department’s Facebook page, on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, officers responded to a disturbance in the 400 Block of West Benton Street. During that incident, 24-year-old Brandon M. Lake was arrested for possession of controlled substances.
According to online court documents, a warrant has been issued and Lake has been charged with a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid and a drug-related misdemeanor. Bond has been set at $35,000 cash only- no 10-percent allowed.
Lake’s initial hearing at Carroll County Circuit Court is pending.
