Lawrence Butler, age 61, of Slater, died Tuesday, October 23, 2018.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 28, at Glasgow High School Gymnasium. Burial will follow at Lincoln Cemetery.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the gymnasium. Memorials suggested to the Glasgow High School Athletic Department.

Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Glasgow is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include: Wife Thomasa Butler, of Gilliam; Son Lawrence Butler, Jr., of Irvine, TX; Daughter LaShanna Butler, of Seattle, WA; Daughter Anita Heimsoth, of Cole Camp; Daughter LaTasha Butler, of Marshall; Son Tyrone Wright, of Overland Park, KS; Daughter Angelica White, of Columbia; Daughter Deanna Wright, of Slater,; Daughter Brittany Butler, of Gilliam; Mother Martha Clanton, of Kansas City; Brother Jessie Butler, of Kansas City; Sister Margaret Clanton, of Kansas City; and Special Friend, Lisa Wright, of Slater.
