John William Hewett, age 69, of Sedalia and formerly of Marshall, died Tuesday, October 23, 2018.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 19, at Parkview Christian Church, where visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. A dinner will follow the service.

Memorials are suggested to the family.

Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Laura, of the home; four children, Chris Hewett (Melanie), of Alvarado, TX, Stacey Pruitt (Eric), of Ft. Worth, TX, Jenny Woltje (Cody), of Wetmore, KS, and Heather Hewett (Mike Shields), of Carrollton; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dottie Orth, of Richardson, TX.
In addition to his parents, Willie T. and Sarah (Barton) Hewett; he was preceded in death by siblings, Barbara, J.B. and Ray; and a brother-in-law, Robert.
