On Thursday, November 1, Special Olympics Missouri will host a public dedication ceremony for the new Training for Life Campus at 305 Special Olympics Drive in Jefferson City.
According to a news release, the public is invited to come and see this world-class campus designed to improve the lives of people with intellectual disabilities in Missouri.
Tours will be available from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. on November 1, with the dedication ceremony beginning at 4 p.m.
The dedication ceremony is scheduled to include a short program and words from: Mark Musso, President/CEO of Special Olympics Missouri; Gary Wilbers, Capital Campaign Chairman; Derek Sandbothe, Special Olympics athlete and Campus Host.
