Bond for a Kansas City woman who has been charged with a felony for allegedly being in possession of quite a bit of a controlled substance after a traffic stop on Thursday, October 25, in Saline County, has been set at six figures.
According to a probable-cause statement, during the stop at the 63 mile marker on I-70, authorities reportedly located a distribution quantity of methamphetamine concealed within a diaper bag inside the vehicle. The methamphetamine weighed approximately 4.4 pounds. The driver also had a small amount of methamphetamine in a baggie on her person. Arrested was 35-year-old Haydee Griselda Erazo Moreno.
According to online court documents, Erazo Moreno has been charged with a Class A Felony for Trafficking Drugs or Attempt in the First Degree Over the Statutory Amount; a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid; and a driving-related misdemeanor. Bond has been set at $100,000 cash only.
Erazo-Moreno’s arraignment hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Wednesday, October 31, at Saline County Circuit Court.
