A Sedalia man who faces several sex-related felonies involving two juveniles in separate cases, has been charged with more felonies after a third victim recently reported sexual abuse in Pettis County.
According to a probable-cause statement, during a forensic interview on September 10, a third victim reportedly came forward and accused 47-year-old David B. Wilson of inappropriate touching on three occasions while the victim was between the ages of 11 and 14. The victim is now 17-year-old.
According to prior probable-cause statements, during a forensic interview on August 29, 2018, Wilson was accused of molesting the second victim approximately 104 times when the victim was between the ages of 12 and 15. That victim is now 22-years-old. Wilson also is accused of molesting the first victim, a 15-year-old, sometime in 2017. Reportedly, authorities said Wilson showed behavior consistent with a serial molester after the victims also stated he made open, sexual comments about other juveniles which lived nearby.
According to online court documents for the prior cases, Wilson- who currently is out on bond- was charged with four counts of a Class B Felony for Child Molestation in the First Degree; two class B Felonies for First-Degree Sexual Abuse-Aggrivated Sexual Offense and Second-Degree Child Molestation; and a Class D Felony for Statutory Sodomy in the Second Degree. Bond in the first case was set at $110,000, and the second case was set at $50,000, each cash or surety.
Online court documents for the recent case says Wilson has been charged with two counts of a Class B Felony for Child Molestation in the First Degree and a Class E Felony for Child Molestation in the Fourth Degree. Bond has been set at $55,000 cash or surety.
Wilson’s initial hearing for the third case is pending, but he is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing for the other cases at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
