A Sedalia man who has been charged with two counts of a sex-related felony involving a juvenile is due in court next week.
A probable-cause statement says on September 6, 2018, a 24-year-old male alleged that 54-year-old Jon Mark Wilson sexually abused him back when he was between the ages of 10 and 12. The abuse he says included oral and anal sex on multiple occasions.
Court documents say Wilson faces two counts of an Unclassified Felony for Statutory Sodomy in the First Degree- Deviate Sexual Intercourse with a Person Less Than 14 Years of Age.
Bond originally was set at $500,000 cash or surety. It was reduced to $200,000 cash or surety during the bond-reduction hearing on October 3. The court approved the posting of surety bond on October 9.
Wilson’s preliminary hearing in the matter is scheduled to be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
