A Green Ridge man faces multiple felony charges after authorities allegedly found him to be in possession of a controlled substance and firearms during a search of his residence on October 30.
According to a probable-cause statement, members of the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force and Pettis County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant and say they found multiple baggies containing methamphetamine (total of nearly 48 grams), digital scales, more than $800 in cash and loaded firearms. Arrested was 60-year-old Ricky Joe Richwine. The PC statement also says Richwine is a convicted felon, meaning it is illegal for him to possess a firearm.
According to online court documents, Richwine has been charged with a Class C Felony for Trafficking Drugs in the Second Degree; a Class D Felony for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm; and a Class E Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Bond has been set at $50,000 cash or surety.
Richwine was arraigned on Thursday, November 1, and his cause has been continued for a counsel-status and bond-reduction hearing at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
