A Sedalia resident sustained minor injuries in a rollover traffic crash in Saline County on Thursday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as 21-year-old Stephanie Herbert reportedly swerved her northbound vehicle to avoid striking an animal in the roadway; overcorrected the vehicle, which traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a road sign, crossed over Route H (Boat Road), struck another road sign, struck the ground and overturned.
Herbert reportedly refused treatment at the scene.
The crash happened just after 11:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 65, south of Route H (Boat Road).
