Funeral services for 83-year-old Vernon Haynes, of Slater, who died Tuesday, November 6, 2018, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 10, at First Baptist Church in Slater. Burial will follow at Gilliam City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, November 9, at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.
