A Boonville resident suffered moderate injuries in a rollover traffic crash in Cooper County on Tuesday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a westbound vehicle, driven by 21-year-old John Polk, reportedly traveled too fast for conditions, traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch, overturned and struck a utility pole.
Polk, who reportedly was not wearing a seat belt, was transported by a private vehicle to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
The crash happened just before 10:30 p.m. on Missouri Highway 98 at Orchard Drive.
