Several state senate and representative races in the KMMO listening area were decided by the voters on Tuesday, November 6.
According to the final unofficial numbers on the Secretary of State’s website, the results were:
State Representative- 39th District- Republican Peggy McGaugh defeated Democrat Rick Mellon 9,530 to 4,710; 47th District- Republican Charles (Chuck) Basye defeated Democrat Adrian Plank 9,080 to 6,913; 48th District- Republican Dave Muntzel defeated Democrat Raymond (Jeff) Faubion 10,135 to 3,553; 50th District- Republican Sarah Walsh defeated Democrat Michaela Skelton 11,709 to 8,167; 51st District- Republican Dean Dohrman defeated Democrat Vince Lutterbie 6,273 to 3,303; 52nd District- Brad Pollitt defeated Dan Marshall 7,986 to 3,194; 53rd District- Republican Glen Kolkmeyer defeated Democrat Connie Simmons 9,942 to 4,354; and 54th District- Republican Dan Houx defeated Democrat James Williams 5,668 to 2,518.
In races for State Senator in District 18- Republican Cindy O’Laughlin defeated Democrat Crystal Stephens 46,225 to 19,528; and in District 28- Republican Sandy Crawford defeated Joe Poor 53,659 to 14,113.
