Bond has been set at a quarter of a million dollars cash or surety for a Sedalia man who has been charged with sex-related felonies involving a juvenile.
According to a probable-cause statement, on January 4, 2018, a female child alleged to a child-safe investigator that 29-year-old Jeremy M. White had touched her “bad spot” with his hand.
The girl’s mother told investigators that she had dated White for approximately four months in 2017. She said the last time she saw White was July 6, 2017, when she asked him to babysit the girls, and he did.
According to online court documents, a warrant has been issued and White has been charged a Class B Felony for Child Molestation in the Second Degree with a Child Less Than 12 Years Old; and an Unclassified Felony for Sodomy or Attempted Sodomy in the First Degree with a Victim Less Than 12 Years Old.
White’s initial hearing is pending at Pettis County Circuit Court.
